Win! A Private Cook-along for Two With Daniel Galmiche

1 prizes to be won!

Daniel Galmiche is a world-renowned, multi Michelin-Starred chef and author of the Revolutionary French Cookbook, French Brasserie Cookbook and his latest book, French Countryside Cooking. With short ingredients lists and straightforward guidance on how to perfect chef-level techniques, chapters include Orchard & Garden, Woodland, and River & Sea. Each recipe elevates French classics to sophisticated dishes such as lemongrass-skewered prawns with sauce vièrge.

Born in Lure in the Comte region of Eastern France, Daniel was enthralled with cooking from an early age. His grandparents ran an organic farm and the food his family ate was prepared using their own produce. After leaving school, he took up a three-year apprenticeship with Chef Yves Lalloz in the spa town of Luxeuil-les-Bains.  His career has since taken him all over the world including London where he worked at the highly acclaimed Le Gavroche under the tutelage of Michel Roux.

Raymond Blanc comments: “In this book, Daniel shows who he really is and where he comes from... I have huge respect for the man and the craftsman, his talent, his passion, his style of cooking and also the love he has for the produce, for nature and his peers. A man of my own heart.”

One lucky winner, and a friend, will enjoy a private, live-streamed cook-along with Daniel in the comfort of their own homes.  Chefs for Foodies, who exist to feed the passion of food lovers, will deliver all of the ingredients, an apron and a signed copy of 'French Countryside Cooking’ published by Nourish Books, in readiness for the session.
