How To: Create Your Competition

Once you’ve decided to work with us in collaboration with one of the UK’s most well-known publications, you will be asked to upload your assets to our Competition Platform. Here are 8 simple steps to setting up your competition:

Decide on the publication(s) you’d like to be featured on with your personal account manager. We work with a number of huge online magazine publications, so there will definitely be one that matched your target demographic. You can see which titles we work with here, in our media packs.

Now, it’s time to choose the prize(s) you’d like to giveaway in your competition and agree with your account manager on a live date, depending on our availability.

Next, you’ll receive an email from your account manager with an upload link. This will lead you to The Competition Platform, where you can register for an account and begin the process of uploading your competition assets.

Upload your competition copy, image, and multiple-choice question via our easy-to-use platform. This should take no more than 15 minutes if you have your copy and images ready in advance.

After you have uploaded your assets, you can choose to include our exclusive Prize Sponsor Benefits. These are exclusive to you as the prize sponsor – they are all completely optional, and each have their own unique advantages. They are likely to enhance the performance of your competition and maximise your end result. (More about our Prize Sponsor Benefits)

Once you have chosen the Prize Sponsor Benefits you’d like to include, you can submit your competition for editorial approval. Once it has been approved, your personal account manager will send you an email with a preview link. Read through, and check for any mistakes and check with your team that they approve. If you need to make any amendments, submit them to your account manager after reading and confirming our Terms and Conditions.

Congratulations!

Your competition will go live on the agreed upon date!

Be sure to take advantage of your personal live report, where you can observe the demographic and geographical reach, as well as the number of entries and opt-ins your competition has received. This is also when you can promote the prize-draw to your existing customers through your own social media platforms.

Finally, once your competition has come to a close, you will be sent an email informing you that the winner(s) details are ready to claim. There will be instructions on how to access these in a GDPR compliant manner. Once you have claimed these details, you will need to send their prize(s) out within the next 28 days.
